I love it. The dude uses his strength and skill to beat him off the line and then is able to get separation with his quick acceleration. He doesn't have the elite top speed but he doesn't need it since he can beat guys like this. Oh, and he's got the same catch radius as Calvin Johnson? Yep.

“He wants to work, he really does,” Carter said. “I actually had to shut him down this spring. I was like, ‘Listen, we’re just getting ready for the combine and the pro day.’ This is all you need to know right now. Once he starts having to learn the Vikings offense, I’ll get tape of him and help him as long as he wants me to.”
Sounds like Carter has been working with Treadwell, and would be willing to do so in the future.

Guess we will find out how good this guy is with the contested catch.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

I forsee under zimmer the Vikings moving away from the Super fast Wr to the Bigger, stronger, better route running skilled WR who knows how to get seperation. I doubt TB will ever develop the Deep Pass anyway. Expect of the Threadwell type WR to come in the next two years.

Fun stuff! I loved Hopkins ability to make catches in traffic. Its hard to see Treadwell being quite as dominant in that regard, but that could be a difference in QB play or other factors. If he's as good as Hopkins that would be thrilling.

Yeah, if he's even close to what Hopkins is we got the steal of the draft. I'm still pissed we got Patterson instead of him back then haha

Me and you both. Hopkins was a man crush of mine that year. If you look back at a lot of my mocks that year, I had us taking Hopkins in a lot of them

Yeah, that year was the last year I put major research into the college prospects and with 3 first round picks I thought for SURE we would get him. /crushed.

I don't know how treadwell compares but I'm hoping he can take some of that sting off of missing Hopkins haha.

That was a good article. If I were Laquon I'd work with Carter as much as possible.

And I also think a WR like treadwell will take more of the focus off of AD. They dont put more of a focus on him and he will nickle and dime them to death.
