@PFF_Fantasy Laquon Treadwell caused 17 missed tackles in 2015, which ranked 4th among draft-eligible receivers. #Vikings

I'm trying to think of a 4.6 guy that was successful in the NFL and the only one I can think of is Anquan Bolding. Reading up on Treadwell, he sounds like he could be a Chad Johnson type of guy (athletically, not personality). I think Johnson didn't run much faster than that right?
I like that he can break tackles and is a good red zone threat. In any case, he's a Viking now so he has my full support. Welcome aboard Laquon!

Treadwell could pick up some more speed both through added healing of the injury and simply his age. He's a beast.

Ok so not that far off, I figured Chad was in that 4.5-4.6 area. NFL.com compares him to Hopkins. If he can be Hopkins, I would be pretty happy with that.dead_poet wrote: Johnson was 4.57.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Seems like the exact opposite of the CP pick

... and if he can be Boldin, I'll be ecstatic!

They could make a heck of a dup if the Vikes could develop Patterson.VikingPaul73 wrote:Seems like the exact opposite of the CP pick

Unfortunately, this probably means that Cordarrelle Patterson is out

A Randy Moss fan for life. A Kevin Williams fan for life.

On offense anyway. Which sucks, yeah. Charles Johnson can't feel great either.HardcoreVikesFan wrote:Unfortunately, this probably means that Cordarrelle Patterson is out

I hope it's in this one.

From Rotoworld:
Laquon Treadwell - WR - Vikings
Vikings selected Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
Treadwell (6'2/221) needed only three years at Ole Miss to set a school record for receptions (202), parlaying them into 2,393 yards (11.8 YPR) and 21 career TDs. He was a first-team All-SEC pick as a 2015 junior. Treadwell won't turn 21 until a month and a half after the draft and offers room for growth despite unimpressive workout metrics, running 4.64 with a 33 1/2-inch vertical. Rather than speed and athleticism, Treadwell wins with length, body control, ball skills, and physicality after the catch. An ultra-competitive player, Treadwell will be a playmaking possession receiver in the NFL.
