Most vivid memory though wasn't that great. I was having car trouble and borrowed a friends' new SUV to make the trip. Brought my niece with me. When we went to leave I hadn't paid close enough attention to the color of our parking level. As I came out of the mall, I should have gone down the steps to our level but went up. I was sure the SUV had been stolen!! I was in a panic and wondering what I should do when I finally headed back toward the mall entrance. I then noticed the split steps. I went down, and there was the car. WHEW!!
I haven't been in years but would love to come up for it. Heck, if I came up this weekend, I'd want to go to the Wild game too!!! 2 in a row for Mike Yeo!!!

I can just imagine how scared you were, but why am I laughing about it? lol. Sorry. I'm just in a great mood, I guess. I'm at my friend's now, in Wisconsin. We are heading out tomorrow morning. Of my group, we have two from Iowa, one from Wisconsin, one from the Cities, and one from Montana. Poor Montana, lol, that's an 11-hour drive. He does it for every home game, too. What a dude. Hopefully
none of us have car troubles tomorrow.
The draft party really is fun. It was a blast the last two years at the Dome, too. I'm curious to find out how the Convention Center compares, but I think it'll be good. I loved being down there on the field, though. I'll miss the Dome. If it's nice tomorrow (it's supposed to rain), I plan on heading down there early to see where the Dome
used to be. It's one thing to see it online, but it's another to see it in person. I'd like to, just for the heck of it. We'll see what the weather brings.
Aside from all that, I'm super excited for tomorrow. I love, love, love trips to Minneapolis, but I especially love hanging with my Vikings' lovin' friends. I love going to Vikings events because I always feel like, "These people get it! These people get me!" I feel at home. lol. I'm very much an oddball in my family when it comes to sports, especially because I'm female. No one gets it! My Minnesota people do, though.
Since most of you guys aren't going, I'll have all the fun for you.
I'm going to bed soon, so tomorrow comes faster.

...I'm pretending that's true, anyway.
