Hey now, actually just after I started watching the Vikings just took the lead. So I was good, it's actually all your faults!

All I can say is this game was classic Ponder. Classic. This is Ponder at his finest, making some decent throws, and then blowing it spectacularly. He's not the only reason the Vikings lost today, but he's emblematic of what ails this team. When he's good he's acceptable, but when he's bad he's horrific. The dips are so much deeper and more damaging than the bumps are rewarding. And the entire friggin' team has taken on that characteristic this year. It's like Ponderitis has infected the team, it's coaches, and it's GM like a communicable disease.

It's really hard for me to believe we are only halfway through this season. I could swear this has already been the longest football season I've ever had the displeasure of watching. It seems like the draft should be just around the corner, but we have another 8 games of this crap to get through before we then find out the Vikings will not have a shot at the best QB in the upcoming draft.

And that's it in a nutshell. I've heard all the excuses, Ponder's doing the best he can, or it's not all his fault and my point all along is this....Ponder played okay against Dallas, but that is all he's got, that's the best he will ever do because that is his level and he may even have overachieved for a bit yesterday. That's not good enough, obviously, and while Frazier debates on who should start for the rest of this season I hope the GM and his minions concentrate on trying to get the best QB possible out of the draft.

I don't know if Ponder overachieved, different game-plan, different QB, 1st game with a game-plan like that. It's almost like someone said "this is what you need to do to get the best out of Ponder".

And that's my point. If this is the best we get from Ponder, well, we need a new QB, not Freeman or Cassel, a new QB. Good Quarterbacks in this league would have not been happy at all with a performance like Ponder had yesterday....Face it...he's not the guy.

If Cassel gives us the best chance to win? Why is Ponder starting instead of him? Ponder gives us the best chance. We can win if the rest of team didn't suck so bad. Ponder can still be our future. We need more pieces on this team though.

The Vikings have allowed 3 game-winning TDs in the final minute this season -- Chicago, Cleveland and Dallas. ....The 3 QBs -- Jay Cutler, Brian Hoyer and Tony Romo -- were a combined 20 of 29 passing for 221 yards and 3 TDs on those drives.

For me, this is why you get a better QB. One who converts that last third down attempt in each game to salt away the victory, rather than giving back the ball on a punt.

But do you get a rookie QB with this pathetic coaching staff, or wonder what the new coaching staff is like? I would go Guards and the DBs. Bad time to draft a rookie QB imo. But on the other hand the VIkes seem to put it off too often.

Hey, I don't know myself but some people are saying Frazier will be staying. You hear it both ways listening to the radio, I didn't really listen to much Vikings Talk until those games where at least for me, that's the poorest I've ever seen them, vs. Panthers, Giants and the Packers. Granted, the Panthers if you look at their recent games have been doing that to everyone they are playing it seems.

The GM has said Frazier is good thru 2014 but that could all be a smoke screen
