I liked Stringer as a player but personally, I don't think he ranks as one of the team's all-time greats. McDaniel does though and it's a shame he wasn't on that list.
For me, I am 27 years old, and I truly remember all of the 90s and would swing my votes towards that generation and I know old schoolers will frown upon my picks I'd do:

Carter
Moss
Randle
Stringer
I won't frown on them. CC and Randle are Hall of Famers and even though I'd wouldn't choose him to represent the Vikes on a hypothetical Mt. Rushmore, Moss will end up in the Hall of Fame as well. They're legit picks and it's all about personal preference anyway. That's your Vikings Mt. Rushmore.

If Gary Larson had been an option, I might have chosen Marshall, Larson, Page and Eller just because it would be cool to put the d-line of the PPEs together. :)

I may be young but I recognize old school awesomeness. I know Grant was the man but I kind of loved Jerry Burns and especially after his melt-down he had with the press after we WON a game

It's hard to separate what you feel is your favorite players and then objectively say who is the greatest Vikings of all time.

I loved Keith Millard, Probably my all time favorite right behind Chuck Foreman. Foreman consistently never gets his due. The guy was an absolute stud running and catching the ball.
That said I made my choices and realized they were all on the defensive side of the ball.

Bud Grant, Allen Page, Jim Marshall and John Randle. The monument will have to wear some eye black. LOL

Tough choices though.
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps.

Well, he sure as heck should have been. What's the deal? Seems to me that Foreman gets overlooked a lot.

Frank Gifford once called Foreman an "offensive machine" on MNF. Gifford was right.

Cool! Well done.

I picked 3 out of 4. I just couldn't leave Bud off my list. I have no issues with CC though. He's one of my all-time favorite players.

Kind of surprised with the AP pick since he's still active. I guess though...he'll end up being NFL Top 5 RB in history when he's done.

I almost went Yary, Page, Moss, and Peterson but I choose the former.
I voted exactly the same!
It's time to take back what was rightfully ours in '98....and '09!!
