He's rough around the edges, but I think he'll develop well.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Maybe if Carr worked a bit on his jump pass, Chili would like him.Vader wrote:Take it for what it is worth but I have been told that Benard has been in contact with his old FSU teammate QB David Carr. The 2 hooked up for 15 TDs Carr's Senior year. Berrian has been telling the front office how much he would like to have Carr in as a security to TJ. I also heard that the owner and the GM want to bring Carr in but Childress does not like the way he delivers the football...... Like I said take it for what its worth but I have no reason to make it up.

Re: why?
Griese never was a FA this year. He signed a long term deal with Da Bears last year (4 or 5 years). They traded him to the Bucs last week.OJVIKE wrote:why would berrian want him ? if any QB i think it would be better off having brain greesie after all they did hook up for the bears! if greesie is still a FA ..i havent check it out yet today...

Screw Harrington, I know this guy that's got a hell of an arm and is tall too, but he's tied up right now playing AA ball for the Twins. He played college football, so maybe we could bring him over.

Very smart and loyal, responds to the name Chewie.

Because Gruden has a collection of old QBs in his basement and was looking for a new one.glg wrote: Griese never was a FA this year. He signed a long term deal with Da Bears last year (4 or 5 years). They traded him to the Bucs last week.
Re: why?
Wait, do they really have Garcia, Griese, Simms, McCown, and Gradkowski (and the rights to Plummer)? Or is one of those guys a FA.Enrage wrote: Because Gruden has a collection of old QBs in his basement and was looking for a new one.
