Congrats Vikes Pro Bowlers
Congratulations to Cook and JJ representing the Vikings with their Pro Bowl selections. Very well deserved.
JJ is a gem who has an incredible future ahead of him. The kid plays like a seasoned veteran. I love his fire, competitive nature and the way he plays shows that the kid absolutely loves the game.
Cook ... a beast!! A game changer. All around complete back. I just hope that we don't run him into the ground and beat him down too much. If he can stay healthy he can do amazing things. But I, as well as many others here, sure worry about his work load and his health.
2 excellent selections for this years NFC Pro Bowl team.

Did Yannick make the pro bowl? I know Jaguars fans are praying for 3rd round if Yannick makes pro bowl

Too bad Kendricks got hurt. Even missing a couple games, I’d have put him in.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

Re: Congrats Vikes Pro Bowlers
He has had one good game with Baltimore last week against his old team. 8 sacks total in 14 games, which is good, but outside of those sacks he has been pretty much non-existent. He currently sits at 36th in pass rushing pressure percentage of 49 qualifying defensive ends.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:13 am Did Yannick make the pro bowl? Oh, and he is just a situational pass rusher on Baltimore and doesn't actually start for them.
I think we are safe.

Yep, he would probably be the leagues tackle leader and is the one name on our defense this year that most people know.J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 8:07 am Too bad Kendricks got hurt. Even missing a couple games, I’d have put him in.

Yup. Tough competition though with Warner and Wagner. At least he didn't get snubbed for someone undeserving. Same with Thielen, had a good year but hard to put him above the guys who got in.J. I wish CJ Ham was picked, he's so underrated.

I checked the trade details, I was wrong, Yannick would get a 4th round pick if he makes the pro bowl but it goes up to a 3rd round pick if Yannick makes the pro bowl AND wins the Superbowl but Jaguars got screwed on that, too bad Jaguar fans!VikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 9:29 amDoesn't look like it, phewRandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:13 am Did Yannick make the pro bowl? Dalvin is the engine of the Kubiak offense. I hope they can get him a better line for next year.
JJ has exceeded our wildest dreams in year one and I can't wait to see the leap he makes in year two.

A better line? Stop hoping, Speilman has been here for 14 years and he keeps failing to build a good offensive lineMaelstrom88 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 9:02 pm Dalvin is the engine of the Kubiak offense. I hope they can get him a better line for next year.

To underscore your point, one of the beat writers tweeted that the Vikings defensive line pressured Brady, Brees and Trubuski a total of six times. By comparison, Kirk was pressured 40 times by the bears and the bucs. Adding the Saints pressures in would be a big number. My point underscoring what you said was it doesn’t make any difference who we have at QB. We will never be remotely close to being a contender until the offensive line is fixed. Why this isn’t a priority with management after this many years is a real head scratcher.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 9:57 pmA better line? That is because they care about money and not about winning, sad but trueFrozen Rope wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 1:06 pmTo underscore your point, one of the beat writers tweeted that the Vikings defensive line pressured Brady, Brees and Trubuski a total of six times.
