1. Excited to see this game on TV. I know we have others in TX-- this game will show on Fox locally since the Cowboys play the Pack at 3pm.

2. I look forward to seeing us face the Eagles and Chip Kelly translated to the NFL--also excited to see Foles. Weird that I'm just as excited to see the opponent as the Vikings, but that's where we're at this year. I do look forward to seeing if Cassel continues to play well and Patterson too.

3. I think we get beat pretty solidly today: 38-24.

I think Philly is getting hot at just the right time. I like their team and Foles can sling it.

Long day for the Vikes D.

Seems like AP and Gerhart are inactive, has anyone seen official confirmation of this?

We lead the all time series 12-9 (0-3 in the playoffs, so technically it's 12-12) and we haven't played them since Joe Webb shocked em 24-14 at Philly in 2010. We haven't played them at the dome since TJacks deer in headlights playoff game in '08, and we haven't beaten them at the dome since 1997 when Brad Johnson was tossing passes to Jake Reed all over the place.

Eagles will jump out to a 23-0 lead, but with 9 minutes to go the Vikings will mount an amazing comeback and pull out a 28-23 ... oh wait, that happened in 1985. I'm starting to get my flashbacks mixed up with my predictions xD.

Igles 45-27

Nick Foles 4 TD's and over 300 yards. McCoy adds another 150 rushing. Walsh kicks a 65 yard FG, and Patterson will throw an end around pass into the EZ that Simpson will drop.

Oh and something has to give today ... Eagles are last in the league in time of possession and the Vikings are 2nd to last. Eagles because they have a fast pace offense and the Vikings because they can't get off the field on 3rd down or convert 3rd downs of their own.

Wobschall thinks so. Here's his typical glass half full take:
Both Toby Gerhart and Adrian Peterson could be out. Point is, the Vikings depth will be tested today.
As we’ve discussed this week, injuries bring opportunities. Third-string running back Matt Asiata and practice squad running back Joe Banyard, who was promoted to the 53-man roster, will likely have an opportunity to step up for their team.

Literally everyone is hurt today, so it will be even more awesome when we beat a playoff contender with nothing but 2nd-stringers!

The Philadelphia Eagles have declared CB Curtis Marsh, OT Dennis Kelly, SS Earl Wolff, QB Matt Barkley, OG Matt Tobin, RB Matthew Tucker, LB Najee Goode inactive for Week 15.

HAHAHAHA Your starting CBs: Robert Blanton and Marcus Sherels.

I will change my prediction: Eagles 52, Vikings 24.

Our best bet in the draft? Trade down and get CJ Mosely (LB 'Bama) around 15 and one of the top rated CBs late in the first (kid from Oklahoma St/ Michigan St). We're in for it today… defensively it will likely be very ugly.

HAHAHAHA this could quite possibly be the worst Vikings home loss in a long time. Good thing I am starting Nick Foles in my fantasy playoffs!

But hey, at least we activated Harrison Smith to play in 3 meaningless games so we can risk further injury to him!

Also, it is just GREAT to see Josh Freeman inactive again. :wallbang:
