Apparently the Colts were looking to trade for Toby Gerhart before they went after Richardson.

it would have been for a pretty bad pick and not totally worth it. we dont utilize toby very well at all but id rahter keep him around instead of letting him go for a 5/6

Toby will more likely leave at the end of the year anyway. I am sure there are teams he could be starting on. I agree. Gehart will be gone next season anyway. Trading him would've been good for whatever we would have gotten in return.
