So, what do we know about Cook's injury? He was coming along so well. I hope it isn't too serious.

In bigger news, CB Chris Cook "more than likely" headed for I.R. with a broken arm. Originally thought to be a broken wrist.

Only way Cook would be back this season is if Vikings made the postseason.
I thought the drop off was dramatic. As soon as Cook was gone, the Bucs took advantage of it and it worked.S197 wrote:I thought Jefferson looked alright in his place. Tough break for Cook but I didn't notice a dramatic drop off.

No way, Jefferson was spot on, those passes were perfect.losperros wrote: I thought the drop off was dramatic. As soon as Cook was gone, the Bucs took advantage of it and it worked.
I think Cook will be badly missed. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.
I agree on both counts. I posted in game thread that I thought AJ looked good. Granted he gave up some big plays but sometimes the Offense just makes a play. AJ had some great coverage but Freeman made some perfect throws and Williams some ridiculous catches. Sometimes, you just have to tip your hat.PurpleKoolaid wrote: No way, Jefferson was spot on, those passes were perfect.
But Cook is better and was getting better, like the whole secondary. Fraizer cant catch a break. He just cant.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but here's how I see it. I like Cook's work a lot and think he's been underrated at what he's done this year. Once he was out of the game, it seemed to me that the Bucs knew they could now involve Mike Williams on some big plays. The passes were great, yeah, but watch the tape of Williams running his patterns on those plays. He out-jumped Jefferson, beating him physically, and simply beat Robinson with precise footwork. In fact, he humiliated Robinson, who was practically stumbling from trying to stay with Williams.PurpleKoolaid wrote: No way, Jefferson was spot on, those passes were perfect.
