Good news! And the right call (IMHO) on both the ejection from the game and the non-suspension....

That's good. I hope we get to continue to see some more of Blanton mixed in there at times.

I didnt think they were gonna suspended him. His apology was sincere, and he repeated it over and over. Smart kid.

Wow, I'm really surprised he didn't get fined. Let's hope this is a lesson learned.

It was a bad move on Smith's part to swipe the official aside, but Smith didn't initiate the contact, nor did he strike the official. The ref was pushing him back and did so for about five yards.
Correct call.

How much was he fined?
And I also think that was a good call not to suspend him, were going to need him against the redskins

It was a typo - The title of the article at the link Yezzir posted said he wouldn't be fined and the following was in the article:
Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said on Monday afternoon that Smith will not be suspended or fined for pushing aside back judge Steve Freeman...

he shouldn't have suspended for that.. If the ref would have handled it better he wouldn't have
even been ejected

Suprised that this wasnt posted here yet, no fine, no suspension. The ejection from 3/4 of the game was punishment enough

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings strong safety Harrison Smith won't be punished further for his shove of an official that drew a 15-yard penalty and automatic ejection from Sunday's game against Tennessee.
