Congrats from a 49er fan

Post by NINEster »

Hey guys wanted to congratulate you on a great win on Sunday. Excellent game plan, intensity, perseverance, the whole 9.

While nobody enjoys seeing their team lose (especially when you attend the game in person, ugh!), they are inevitable and better it happen early in the year against the Vikings than the Packers or Lions (and a bunch of other teams). Hopefully the loss will be very useful to the team in terms of building character, and addressing weaknesses on offense/defense.

On the flipside, now that we've had to endure our worst loss in the Harbaugh era, I expect a lot more from you guys this season than last, hehe. You guys go 10-6 and this loss will sting a lot less in the long term. :D

BTW, Vikings fans were very cool in stadium and at the bar next door....no obnoxious rubbing it in. Good luck this season!

Thanks, I was cheering for you guys last year. One of the first Super Bowls I remember watching was the 49ers/Bengals in 89 (88 season) I was 11 years old.
:beerock: cheers

Man, what civil fans the 49ers have!

So different from, say, the Saints' or Packers' fans. Lots of class; I hope we come off that way too.
