What do your names mean/why chosen?

Post by Colinito »

Some are easy to figure out and some are complete mysteries, so I was wondering why people chose their usernames for this board?

As for me, my real name is Colin, and perhaps my most popular nickname, popularized by my friend Joey down in Tallahassee, is Colinito. Longhand it's Colinito's Way, but I think of that more as the truth/divinity I hold within and use to guide myself through life.

I wanted PurpleReign, but that was already taken. I like PurpleMustReign better anyway, so I'm glad it worked out the wai it did.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

Funny, your name is why I thought of this thread. Thought it might be some computer lingo or something.

PurpleReign, I like that. Doubly cool with Prince being from Minnesota too.

S197 is the production code for the 2005+ Mustang. Nothing to do with the team, just another big hobby of mine.

Nothing to do with football. Wang Chi is the sidekick in "Big Trouble from Little China," which is one of my favorite bad movies ever. I just use the same screen name on all sites. The 7 is simply because someone already had the email address wang_chi so I had to add a number.

I get tired of the name quite often but am stuck with it.

Mine is an obscure guy from "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly". Bill Carson is the dying Civil War soldier who tells Tuco what cemetary the soldiers have hidden the stolen gold in, and then tells Blondie (Eastwood) the name on the grave.

That forces Tuco to save Blondie's life (since Tuco was in the process of killing Blondie slowly via desert sun when they happened upon Carson).

Awesome movie, I never get tired of it.
