Assuming they make the playoffs, which is a virtual certainty at this point IMHO, if they are out quickly and not competitive in that loss, it is hard to believe the Wilfs would not be prepared to make some major changes.

What I want is playoff success. A deep playoff run. A Superbowl win. If they achieve that, then I want the status quo.

I think you nailed it. If the status quo is greatness, there is nothing wrong with sticking with the status quo. If it is one and done in the playoffs...we are in for some lean years.

The next three games need to have an impact on the direction this team goes. Failure against division teams, good teams, in high pressure moments, and in the playoffs will be informative. If Cousins goes full pumpkin over this stretch and they don't start the process to move on from him, they will be confining themselves to mediocrity. If he reacts well to that pressure and shows he has turned a new page, they won't be able to move on from him, and he's the QB of the future.

Wonder what the percentage to make the playoffs was when the VIkings lost to the Cardinals and missed the playoffs. That year felt like a virtual certainty too.
