Fans of teams can love or hate the same player. Wilson is a super bowl winner so you would think every Hawk fan would think he's the best. It was suggest that the Seahawks draft Mond as a backup possible future starter and was written for fansided by Lee Vowell.
Mond’s athleticism might be decent for college but not enough for the NFL and fast edge rushers. Mond did play in the SEC so he is used to some speed but not always NFL speed. He also only played in a system where he was in shotgun. While this might have been ideal in recent years for Seattle, new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron might not always want Wilson, or whoever backs him up, in shotgun. Mond also needs to work on creating plays after the designed one breaks down.

yes we need another qb who throws for 167 yards a game...he will be just like wilson who is a fraud...seattle fans do not know what a great qb is...so get another qb who throws for 160-170 yards a game and the mindless minions will be thrilled...wilson stinks

I mean even Aaron Rodgers is at least consistent. Comes across as a colossal jerk. Every time. I don't even know who Wilson is half the time. Constantly wanted the spotlight on him. Or ppl close to him did. I won't miss that part at all tbh

See all fans have an opinion and some of these could be baiters. IMO Wilson is a good QB who won a Super Bowl and then threw the pick to Butler which ended another one. But people shouldn't take anything away from that LOB defense. They were one of the all time best in the history of the NFL. They were like Ryan's Bears and our own PPE in 69,70 and 71.

We go through the same. Some think Kirk sucks but expect something in a trade. Others think he sucks and we couldn't trade him for anything. I see him as the best since Fran. Of course that's a comparison to a bunch of stiffs but it's my thought. Bottom line if our D is fixed quickly and that can happen we will have no chance if we have nothing at QB. I've seen that act for decades. We also should never pass on a top talented QB that falls to us. We have always missed that opportunity also. Unfortunately there are no QBs in this draft. So it's extend Kirk or punt him out the door and start a rebuild with nothing in the hole to play QB.

There is about a 10% chance of that happening but it might.

Defense you have a point, but I don't think that is nearly as important to Wilson as what is on offense.

Maybe our OL is better. We had 31 offensive holding calls and Denver had 16. Holding hurts an offense. Of course some will say it don't matter. Stafford was No 1 at 52.5, No 2 Mahomes 51.0.....No 11 MVP Rodgers 43.7.. our stiff Cousins No. 17 40.2 and the great Wilson No 19 39.8. That don't look to good for Wilson. Never thought the stiff Cousins would be better at something especially a pressure 3rd down conversion rate but there it is. I'm sure Wilson blamed everything but him. Neither looks to good under pressure. Brady was better than both of course.
PFF WR cores for pre 2021 we were ranked No 6 and Denver ranked No 7 https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-al ... 021-season. So based on PFF I don't see this huge advantage. The Bucs were ranked No 1.
Hopefully our guy G Holder Olli is thrown in the garbage bin quickly.

Do you think SF is comfortable starting Trey Lance this year? If not, why are folks convinced Jimmy G is going to be traded? Also if not, are we sure SF is sold on Lance longterm if they have little confidence in him short term?

Wilson is a media king. Once the LOB was finished he never lead them back to the show. He thinks he's the star. Rips his OL in public and don't think those guys weren't like F you a hole. That's a me player. Certainly not a leader.

Why are you bringing other players into this. It was a Wilson to Broncos thread. Wilson own teammates criticized him for the same thing. The LOB was one of the all time greats. Your a stat guy look it up. They gave up 6 in the SB. The LOB wasn't a Zim type that folded against the good teams. They played tough no matter who the opponent was. Wilson as a 2nd year guy helped them make the Super Bowl. He helped I don't question that. But I also give the LOB credit also. You are the opposite it was all Wilson. It was an entire team and they were good on every level including ST.

No, but neither has had to play with the terrible olines Wilson has, and Rodgers needed a great defense to win his SB, while Brees needed cheating to get there and win his.
