If coach moron- jack #### Frazier would have made ponder compete against Cassel..

Cassel would have won the QB job IMO .. we would have won more games this year

The most important job on the team yeah lets just give it to Ponder because we drafted him
high three years ago(even though he has not improved at all !!!) yeah that's a good plan

Mike Priefer should keep his job, he's IMO the best STs coach in the NFL
Maybe. I wonder how likely it would be that a new head coach would retain any of the existing coaches. Doesn't seem likely to me.

We should pick him up then. Although I don't see this happening.

OR MAYBE.....
Frazier's a genius and knew(like many)that both were mediocre and realizing this he figures he'll botch the season to get the right QB in the upcoming draft without a sniff of a team tanking it. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!

absolutely. vikings special teams have been better than I can ever remember them being. the coverage has really been great despite yesterday's little slip up. we seem to have very few poorly returned kicks and punts as well.

I was at a breaking point, but obviously there is something else at work here, and the brain trust/coach has something up his sleeve. After again watching the weakest qb on the team play, I'm just simply wondering "What is the punchline?" This has to be a joke coach, and I'm ready to finally laugh out loud being on the "inside."

Haven't you heard? Making players compete for their job doesn't motivate anyone to do better. Coddling is clearly the way to go.

I'm still laughing at Ponders line a few weeks ago when he got the starting job back ... with his doe-eyed pouty look he said, "I don't plan on giving it back" ... bahahaha  With his job on the line he has played worse and I didn't even think that was possible. Yeah clearly not making him compete for the starting job was the right call if you wanted to hang onto him longer. Not the right call if you wanted more wins though.

Here is one problem with that, the punter holds on FGs, absolutely giving a tell that they will never pull a fake. These clows are as stupid as Childress! Frazier is one helluva man, but put a QB out to hold you have 3 of them.

Overrated.

Gets incredibly talented returners. Faces a good returner and gets burned.

Unless you're going to give him credit for turning Walsh around? Who knows on that. Not enough to keep a guy who hasn't done much else...talent matters. There's a reason good returners usually have good returns, and it's not coached up blockers...

He turned Sherels into a pretty decent returner too. Not exactly a guy overflowing with talent.

There are teams that use QBs, a couple of years ago the Cowboys had Romo doing it.

What is it about this guy? he sure don't look like much but he just seems to slither between people. I'm amazed each time he has a big return cause he don't look fast at all.
