That was exceptional discipline on that play.

(granted, that was mostly Gus)
Mostly? He went 6-2 as the starter. TJoke probably doesn't even make playoffs.

Just like if we had Sage and Ponder got hurt we might actually have a real shot at them. We cut our best QB so we didn't hurt Ponder's feelings.

Yeah, as ineffective as he was at times, he still had some really nice 20-30 yard touch throws. But none for about a month now.

They're blitzing because we don't have a QB like freeman capable of making plays.

And our defense is getting tired trying to make up for all of Ponder's three and outs.

They do need to start sustaining those 9-12-play drives and give the defense a break. This is a crucial possession.

I mean... we ARE 5-2... and with a loss tonight, 5-3. It's not like it's unfathomable. 5-3 puts us in good position through half our games.

A long sustained drive to give the D a rest would be nice. A quick score would be great too.

Nice hole we're digging here... Frazier needs to do something to shake things up.

Not to mention that's probably about 2-3 games higher than anybody predicted at the start of the season. Curse the Vikings for giving us hope. We keep getting fooled. It makes the hurt that much more intense.
