i agree with former pro calling the game. it wasn't anything that kept him catching the ball...which is the spirit of the rule.
consistency is what i want....i understand it's an interpretive call, there's just been a lot of flaky PI calls in the end zone this year. i find it to be a big flaw.
jus my opinion

Cassel also had ~250 yards the week before when he didn't start until halftime (but included OT). He is the only Viking QB to reach 240 yards all year, and today will be his fifth time (barring total meltdown)

Three and out. Nice way for the defense to start the second half.

All hyperbole aside, those are stats for a full game by Ponder most of the time. Cassel has played a great half so far.
I've already posted this thought, but I think Cassel should be the stop-gap 1 year starter next year, especially if the new coaching staff can draft a legit QB in the next draft.

Well, let's see if we can stay aggressive or if we start milking the clock, it is the 3rd quarter after all.

We saw how bad Cassel could be last year so it cuts out all the good he's ever done and his ability to play on OUR TEAM as opposed to a different team. Ponder the best chance to win!

And one pass and he's got it.
