It wasn't called by the ref that had the best view. IMHO, that alone makes the call questionable, but to each his own.

Line judge was blocked from seeing the PI, back judge had a cleare view.

I think that these 8 and nine man fronts to shut down AD has stymied this offense including the passing game all season. Especiaslly when the o-line was playing so poorly all year long. Now things are opening up all over the field.

Closest ref couldn't see the call. back judge could.

Yeah, and I like your posts about the use of AD, we've both talked about that before. It's so sad that we can have a legit passing game when AD isn't playing, the supposed "best friend" of a QB.

they run him into the ground and get nowhere. i seriously wonder if we don't have the dumbest coaches.

So where are all the 'the NFL is rigged and out to get the Vikings' posters?

I'm not saying that wasn't PI, but I've seen a lot worse let go and if the refs really were out to 'get' the Vikings then it wouldn't have been called. Just tired of hearing the constant complaining that we never get a call.

i think there is a lot of truth to that.

and instead of just trying to force the issue and run AD like a religion, it would make more sense to dictate by running empty backfield sets and running more out of shotgun and such.

so, little imagination in the playcalling.

I am most surprised by our D in the first half. Cassel looks good, but he has in the past too. Our D looks surprisingly solid.
