One thing I will say regarding Phillips….
I was born and raised in NY and only a few hours from Buffalo. So I have a lot of buddies that are huge bills fans. I always knew OF Phillips but never knew enough about him. But the fans are practically obsessed with him and really bummed to see him go. Great locker room guy, hard worker, solid run stuffer, etc. A few buddies already texted me and said we got a good one with him. One buddy even said “this is Pat Williams going from Buffalo to the Vikings all over again”….for what it’s worth lol
Yep. I have heard nothing bad about the guy. Just because he's not a huge name doesn't mean he can't have huge value. Or even good value.
The way some people talk about some of our acquisitions you'd think it was OUR money the Vikes were spending on these guys.

How many IDL do we need? Just we just sign Phillips? Do we have enough CBs? I dont know any we have other than Cam. Im hoping he will be good but he makes a lot of costly mistakes.

Dantzler is nothing more than a 3rd guy at this point. Giving a game away like he did against the Lions usually gets a player cut. He didn't even try. We have nothing a CB or S. Sure Smith but he's not the same player anymore. Woods? That's your typical FA signing. He was thrown into the dirt pile because his old team thought he sucked. We thought it would work. Like the saying goes one mans pile of crap is another mans pile of gold. That's why building through FA is not the right approach. If a good player is there then you will pay much more than what they are worth. That ruins your CAP management. Every player will know you overpaid and will want the same. That why the Pats let these expensive OL guys walk.
