Sorry, I don't re-read the entire conversation in each reply and I'm not drunk, I'm working and popping in and out to post so I looked at what purplehaze wrote and what you replied and overlooked your highlighted text. Sorry you didn't have my full attention. However, I do appreciate you being obnoxious about an obvious misunderstanding when you could have just politely pointed out the same information. It's that kind of behavior that's turned this board into a real delight this season.
 Actually, I was polite to you when I politely highlighted the selected text (for you, to clear it up) and thanked purplehaze for giving me what I asked for.

It's not my fault you continued to argue the same bogus point after that.

Sorry the board is too obnoxious for you. Sorry I lost patience, too. You kept trying to argue a point that made no sense...while others seemed to have gotten it. You ignored them too just to keep up with your point. That's when I lost patience, because it was beyond obvious at that point. It was getting weird.

I apologize. As I said, I was distracted because I'm working. I wasn't intentionally ignoring anybody and I wasn't even trying to be argumentative. I'm exhausted and stressed out and I obviously shouldn't be posting when I'm not 100% focused on the conversation because I make mistakes like overlooking pertinent information. That's not an excuse, it's just what happened. I'll try to be more attentive in the future.

It sure does. I'm a freelancer so sometimes, I work very long hours. I haven't had a complete day off in about two months. :(

It's cool. I get it. But in the future, just ask me if you are confused on what I'm trying to say or ask. I'll gladly clear it up for you. But if it takes more than 3 times, I can't promise I won't be obnoxious again. Sorry. I'm also sorry I have such high expectations for you. I figured you'd understand what I was saying the first time. That was my bad. I'll lower them. :D Kidding. Truce!

Regardless, the point was: Ponder more than doubled his previous combined passer rating for games at Green Bay today. 103 is MUCH better than what we've seen in the past. I was a little bit proud. Too bad about those drops. Could have tripled it! Could have won, too! Ahhh!

Either way: :appl:

Today's lost wasn't on Ponder. He had a few bad throws. His receivers had some dropped balls, and Simpson looked like a real #1 WR. But our D is so bad. I hope to god every single LB we have is fired soon. And other then Rhodes and Smith fired our DBs. What an embarrassment.

LOL! Normally, I would get it the first time but it probably wouldn't hurt for you to lower your expectations anyway. ;) I'm sure it will benefit me at some point down the line!

20 Plus completions barely 200 yards. He should have a passing rating thru the roof making 5 yard passes all day. Anybody who thinks Ponder is a quality NFL caliber QB needs a Brain examination. How many wins has the "Game manager" managed to win for us?

Well I was hoping for a cage match between Mel and Jim.

Not sure if serious...

Ponder was terrible in the first couple drives but then dominated the rest of the game. Those three huge drops really cost us. If any of them had been caught we likely would have won the game, especially that perfect deep ball to Patterson. The pass to Wright would have put us within ten yards of field goal range.
And that one to Jennings, I could have caught that. I'm calling sabotage.

He's gone as the starting QB at the end of the season...wish there was herpes medicine that could do that!

Even Fraizer now knows theres bad Ponder. Today good Ponder was predominant. He is NOT what you want to build your football team around. But hopefully Fraizer is no longer involved with those decisions next season.

People have railed on Ponder all year (lord knows that I have) but today there is NOOOO REASON to try and put the blame on him for the tie. The could of's and should of's go both ways with bad passes that could have been intercepted and good passes that should have been caught but the bottom line is that Ponder had a Q/B rating over 100 and we once again had a lead (13 points) going into the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, once again, the defense caved to allow a team to come back. Is Ponder the future, NOOOOOOOOOO but today he was certainly good enough and deserved a win.
