We were handed another gift last night and we didn’t even play a game. Pack dropped the Thursday night game. I have despised the Cowboys ever since I spent time in Texas in the Navy in ‘70-‘71. Got out of the service in ‘73 and the Drew Pearson push off TD sealed my Cowboy hatred for life. I hope we beat them and don’t doubt that we are capable.

The Pack losing that game was a surprise to me. Sometimes a big comeback win is a jump start to more victories. Didn't happen. Looks like that team is dead at this point and is just going through the motions. Losing Adams took some punch out of them. My favorite beating of the Boys was back in I think it was 73 or 74 when we beat them in their house in a playoff game. Bryant picked off Rodger for a TD in that one. But I always admired Landry. They started using the shotgun formation as a 3rd down tool and then every team copied it.
