Week 10: Vikings @ Bills predictions
I see a Bills win in this one. The home field will help. The Bills play good D and I don't think our OL can do enough to get Cook rolling or protect in the passing game. Our D should be able to get pressure on Allen as the Jets did and like every QB he'll have a hard time. He was terrible against the Jets. I think 21-17.
Re: Week 10: Vikings @ Bills predictions
1: Allen won't play (and will miss multiple games)
2: Both Cook brothers will score a TD
3: Vikings win 16-13

3: Vikings win 16-13
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Vikes 10-Bills 24
Outside in cold, windy weather, with the Bills D, the Vikes dont have a chance.

After watching all of Vikings football since day one and especially the Bud Grant era at the Met it’s hard to wrap my head around this. “Outside in cold windy weather…the Vikes don’t have a chance”. Words I never imagined I’d ever hear about the Vikings.JJBreaksRecords wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 9:24 am Vikes 10-Bills 24

The game will depend on individual matchups and how they prepare their game plan. No team is unbeatable but they’ll have to match up well, scheme well in areas the Bills have the upper hand and play as a team (think the current buzzwords are complimentary football). They are capable of beating the Bills but will have to be at the top of their game.
In regards to the Allen injury. It’s the same type of injury that pitchers get “Tommy John surgery” to correct, just less severe. It could end up being worse than they’re letting on. If Keenum plays there are still some veteran players like Harrison Smith that practiced against Keenum and know his weaknesses. Should be an interesting game.

Re: Week 10: Vikings @ Bills predictions
I won't predict a score for this game, but I will highlight a few factors that could be decisive.
First is the status of Josh Allen, and not only if he sits out, but his ability to throw in general, especially if it is windy and cold. Obviously, if the Vikings have to face Keenum instead of a healthy Allen, that greatly favors the Vikings because Keenum isn't nearly the same threat to run, but if Allen does play and can't throw confidently, that might be worse for the Bills.
I expect them to do what they can to minimize any discomfort in Allen's throwing arm and put him out there, but it will be very interesting to see how effective he ends up being.
If Allen doesn't go, I expect the Bills to struggle on offense. I think absent Allen's dual pass-run threat, the Vikings match up very well against the Bills offense.
For the Vikings offense, I see Hockenson as key. The Bills have a solid secondary and a good defensive line (although there too injuries might be a factor this Sunday), but Hockenson throws a wrinkle into things, both because he's a big target, but also because by this point he's going to be much more comfortable in the offense and Cousins will be more comfortable looking his way. When we're talking about converting 3rd downs and sustaining drives, having a guy like Hockenson fully involved greatly increases the chances of the Vikings doing that.
Another guy who could have a big game is Dalvin Cook, with some of the likelihood of that again depending on the health of the Bills defensive line. The Jets enjoyed some success running last Sunday, and I've felt like Cook is due for a big game. With the weather likely to pose challenges for the passing game, it would be nice to see the Vikings sustain some drives with a solid day rushing.
Lastly, I think the punters and special teams for both teams will be huge factors in the outcome, again assuming weather makes life hard for both offenses. In games where it is hard to generate explosive plays in the passing game, field position will be very important, and that comes down to punters and kick coverage doing their respective jobs.
I've seen a lot of predictions of a relatively high scoring game, but this game might end up relatively low scoring and again a close margin.
Still hoping to see the Vikings put together a complete game in all phases. Hopefully they'll give the Bills all they can handle and find a way to come out on top at the end.

Is there any update on Allen? I hope Allen plays so Vikings can defeat Bills at full strength
Re: Week 10: Vikings @ Bills predictions
It's the same deal questionable. But I think he will play. They need this game after last weeks melt down.VikingsFan84 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 10:20 am Is there any update on Allen? I hope Allen plays so Vikings can defeat Bills at full strength

Like Kapp, I think this will be a relatively low scoring game because it will be cold and windy and I believe the Bills will start Keenum. I think it'll be a slugfest that will involve more running than we usually see from these two offenses. 20-17. Another grinder of a game. Vikes Roll!

Re: Week 10: Vikings @ Bills predictions
CB X Rhodes has been promoted from PS. I thought he was gone. They didn't promote QB Barkley so Allen must be good according to Ian Rap. Dantzler on IR will miss 4 games. Evans time.

Never use divisional opponents as a barometer when gauging the quality of a team. They play each other twice a year, every year.CharVike wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 8:46 am I see a Bills win in this one. The home field will help. The Bills 2 loses have been to divisional opponents. Otherwise, they're undefeated outside of their division. Golden Rule when
wagering divisional games : Don't !!!!!! lol plus never bet the spread cuz it will come back and kill you. There are exceptions on
occasion but, few and far between. The Browns pounded the Bengals a couple of Mondays ago yada, yada etc..... just sayin
when it comes to division opponents ? tread carefully at all times.
The Vikes are 8 and 6 head to head against the Bills but, dropping the last 2 matchups to them. Time to right the ship, go in there and just win!!! baby!!!!! lol. I miss Al Davis. Still have a feeling Vikes win it. Ummmmmm...... 26-16. Kill the Bills

They have a chance if they play a solid all around game and the Bills screw up. The Bills have more talent especially in the secondary but the better team don't always win. They still need to play good ball. We're not a door mate.JJBreaksRecords wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 9:24 am Vikes 10-Bills 24

Fuming over the non review of a clear incompletion at the end of regulatio. Also a certain missed PAT.
