and that's cool. Was just taking issue with the assertion that he would start for 50 percent of the teams in the NFL. I'm confident that number is substantially closer to 0 percent.

He might do better in a power scheme though.
I'm confident in at least 50% likely more.
What do you think he would fetch in a trade?

A third round pick at best. RBs are devalued in the NFL these days.

Our final pick I think. TE Nick Muse. 6'5" 249

A four-year varsity football player at tight end and linebacker in High School, Muse also lettered in baseball, basketball, and track and field. He began his college career at William & Mary before transferring to South Carolina ahead of the 2019 season. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2020 but erratic quarterback play in college limited him from truly finding high-level production in the passing game. Muse is a good route-runner that does well to adjust in zone coverage and he features good separation quickness at the top of routes. He is surprisingly strong after the catch where his creativity, burst, physicality, and vision shine. Muse has sufficient hands and ball skills. He is highly competitive with good physicality in everything he does on the field. When it comes to areas of concern, Muse is a below-average in-line blocker that struggles to sustain blocks. He has below-average length and wingspan, which impacts his ability to truly serve as a mismatch weapon in the passing game. Muse has the makings of a quality depth player that can produce in certain personnel groupings and should be a quality special teams contributor.

As I said. We disagree. I think he's great.

Then think about Thielen. Where did he rank in value, then.. How would he rank today. Who really knows,

I think it would be fun to make a poll with all the draft picks and have a vote for makes the roster/practice squad/ or cut. I don't know how to do that though.

I guess SI doesnt know football or analytics. They gave the draft for MN dead last, with a D- grade. :wallbang: Will have to wait 3 years to see who was right. Booth and Cine might be able to play right away.

They must really like him but if he does not make the team then that is a waste of money for nothing

This one doesn’t like us
That's a good link. They wanted to give us an F. The two teams with the highest grade selected 2 players in round 1 that were very high on our needs list and both mentioned on the board often.
Ravens A+
Round 1, Pick 14: Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
Round 1, Pick 25 (from Buffalo): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
They got the top player for two positions. That's understanding the drafts true value.
Eagles A+
Round 1, Pick 13 (from Cleveland via Houston): Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia
Round 2, Pick 51: Cam Jurgens, C, Nebraska
Many liked Davis and a good C

What makes you think this?
Nailor is a nice WR but what does he bring to the table? A 6th Rd pick. He is not bringing speed, or red zone height, or anything we do not already have, except younger. I would have liked to have seen a l WR with difference making ability. Nailor is solid against college CB. What does he present to push NFL DB ??? Nothing

I stood up for Kwesi and the new regime. However, we continue to make poor draft picks. I am totally underwhelmed by the players taken, in general. I feel that Kwesi did a very good job of trading, but I now view our scouts as the problem.
Why do we always miss and have poor depth? The scouts are the same from the previous regime, I believe.

Imo, very poor drafting today !

I think he's faster than any WR the Vikings had.
