Why? Just WHY? I'm already over the new regime! I'll be surprised as heck if they have a sniff of even an above average season. What is the definition of insanity again????halfgiz wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 2:45 pmSource said "definitely a chance" of backup QB Sean Mannion being re-signed by #Vikings with Kirk Cousins return assured. Mannion is very close to Cousins & helps him greatly in QB room. I can tell you that no matter what, there is absolutely 0 chance mannion is our starting QB next year. He’s not even under contract and I highly doubt he gets resigned
OMG Rick never left.

How are your predictions looking for you so far PHP? It goes without saying that many things would be wrong. Have you got a few right? You predicted Pierce being released right?

Scherff signing with Jax. Crap.

Re: The "New Regime, New Mock" Offseason
Yeah and Austin Corbett signed with Car. Another G people linked to us due to koc and lar.
Laken Tomlinson singing with jets.
Still some out there. If we are gonna keep Bradbury at C we gotta do something at rg. Maybe Davis is the answer. Sure would be nice to know if our third round pick could actually play or not.

I had Pierce getting traded so that’s the closest I’ve been. Some guys I had us signing signed elsewhere. I will say, if I knew prior to this that JC Tretter was going to be released, I probably would’ve had us signing tretter at center instead of Corbett at guard and taking our chance on Wyatt Davis at guard. But tretter didnt get released until after I posted this.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 3:41 pm How are your predictions looking for you so far PHP? But I will say, I wouldn’t mind that move at all if it happens. I still look at Davis as a sleeper that wasn’t given the time of day by zimmer

I sure hope you are right about Davis. I dont know how much he was even evaluated last year, but I dont think very much. Even if he isnt the RG he might be able to be a great backup, give Kirk just a little bit more time.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 10:52 pmI had Pierce getting traded so that’s the closest I’ve been. Do you think that was a good signing? Alot of money for a G. You can only spend so much on the OL. O'neil and him would have taken most it. Couldn't afford to keep draft picks for their 2nd contract. I could see a LT to stop speed rushers. O'neil is high for a RT. That's a bad way to manage the CAP. Positions need a value.

Yeah Scherff at $17 million a year is a desperate overpay by Jacksonville. He hasnt played a full season since 2015CharVike wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 1:07 pmDo you think that was a good signing? I just would have liked to get him. I heard $15 million would probably be the number so Jax ponied up big.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 1:55 pmYeah Scherff at $17 million a year is a desperate overpay by Jacksonville. I honestly don’t think he’s worth anywhere near that money I’d want him on a prove it contract (which would never fly). Play wise? He’s up there, but the guy is literally never healthy. And the fact he cashed in for more than Thuney did last year? No thanks. Scherff will be gone within a few years from Jacksonville when he proves he still can’t stay healthy.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 2:31 pmI just would have liked to get him. A guy like Corbett would’ve made way more sense like I had on this mock. Unfortunately he signed with Carolina. But wouldn’t cost near the money and isn’t a huge difference in play
