Yes he was. One of my favorite players of all time. Him and Dixon on the right side would take games over. The left side of the D was worn out by the time the 4th quarter rolled around. 700+ total ILBs laying the wood all day and that was many years ago. Today the guys are light weights compared to those two. That's why I'll always take the size advantage. Nothing beats size.

Why did it take 20 years. A good friend of mine came from Stringers home town and was friends of the family. It was so tragic.
