I'd be stupidly happy if we brought him back. Solid back, knows the system, can help lead the crew, and is relatively cheap. I hope it happens.

How did he play last year? Probably would mean Hughes is out wouldn't it?

I never understood why he left in the first place.

I could understand the release of Rhodes. He was making a lot relatively-speaking and didn't have much to show for it on the field. Not sure he had the best attitude about that either, so that made some sense.

Waynes I could understand as well. 1st round pick that was solid, but nothing more, and rarely seemed to make plays when he needed to make a play. I can't recall a back who so consistently was in good position while so consistently failing to win the battle for the ball at the same time.

Alexander leaving? That made little sense to me. I assumed it had something to do with his relationship with Zimmer maybe? He seemed like a solid back, especially when playing inside in the nickel. He actually made some plays on the ball too. Of all the corners the Vikings had the year before last, he was the one who seemed to be a sure bet to return. So it almost seemed to me that he forced the situation because I did not understand why the Vikings wouldn't want to bring him back.

Bringing him back would make a ton of sense and be an instant upgrade at nickel corner.

Yeah he left because he was ticked off at Zim because Zim played him in that meaningless Chicago game when it was all backups playing. In turn, Alexander hurt his knee, missed the playoffs and had to have surgery. I think he felt disrespected which I get.
