Here's some news to brighten the day of Vikings fans everywhere.

Jared Allen, who spent most of his career ransacking quarterbacks for the Minnesota Vikings, has been named as one of 15 Modern-Era Player Finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2021, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Tuesday night.

Allen is one of six players who is a finalist for the first time and one of four players to make the elite cut in his first year of eligibility.

Let's hope he gets in first ballot. He deserves it.

Jared never played with broken bones when he was a Viking, I love Jared but James Marshall should be in before Jared

Jared never played with a fractured arm, he had a torn labium and played through it, you are confusing with Thomas Davis who played with Jared Allen on the Panthers and he played with a fractured forearm in the Superbowl and Jared did have a broken foot with the Panthers but he did not play in the NFC Championship game due to his broken foot
