PFF projects him best to 3-4 ILB, I wonder if they brought him in for that purpose? Really reaching here, but having versatility to play ore 3-4 could be possibility?

would have been a great ST pick with one of our FOUR 7th rounders

He does so well early in the drafts anf the he just #### the 4th 5th and 6th rounds (here is where everyone points to Diggs). Wasted picks.

Well, at least his first three picks have a high likelihood to contribute soon.

Interesting his weakness in pass coverage. He has decent measurables.

Looks to me Gedeon might be used only on short yardage, run downs, no way he will cover anyone.

Cook terrify's me, he's straight hood and has had a life time of small screw ups and appears to be easily manipulated by scum bags and now he's going to be rich. I love his talent and he's a Viking so I'm hoping it all works out but I wouldn't be shocked if he's the kind of guy who gets suspended a lot. I read his story and yeah it's great to try and blame it on all the bad people around you but if you can't say no to those kinds of people and you hang out with those kinds of people and you're always around trouble, trouble will find you. But let's hope that's not who he really is for our sake.

I do like that his COACHES vouch for his work ethic and character and I really hope we are getting THAT guy but boy am I skeptical.

Honestly I'd be less worried about Mixon getting suspended who made one REALLY big mistake when he was young but before that mistake and after it has been more or less an ideal citizen.
Your statement about him being straight hood is very far off. The issues he had are so overblown its funny.

1) possible fight in middle school. Im sure thats never happened to you
2) police interveined when his 3 puppies were chained to a heavy chain. What a thug

3) A friend at his apt brandished a gun at a neighboor. This is the true cause for concern. Again it wasnt him but this is understandable. Everything else youve heard is a lie from an agent he didnt choose.

If it makes you feel any better, the odds of round 4+ players on any team having long careers is pretty slim. Would be interesting to compare Rick to others in these rounds. It feels like he's not great but I'd want to see the comparison.

Looking into him more, all I can think is they want to be able to go 3-4 situationally. I don't get it otherwise.

Danielle Hunter wasn't a popular pick where he was selected, too. Let's give the kid a chance.

gedeon seems like a poor man's Brothers, who the Vikings already have from the 5th round last year.

just such a head scratcher. I mean ST is important but so is pass defense!!!!!!!!
