They potentially have 3 week 1 starters. Good job so far.

@Andrew_Krammer #Vikings take Michigan LB Ben Gedeon (6-2, 244) at 120th overall. Led Wolverines in tackles last year, a special teams standout.

@DWolfsonKSTP Word on Gedeon: surely will make an immediate impact on special teams. 13 of his 14 starts at Mich. came last yr. Tackling machine. #Vikings

I'm following the draft at the CBS site, they give this pick a D+, so I don't think too many people are in agreement with you.

That's not reassuring. And then Siragusa goes. Would much rather have Nico or Asiata, Hodges, Butt, Roberts, than Gideon. Just a bizarre pick.

Stats to know: Allowed receptions on 30 of 37 targets between 2014-2016; he did not break up a single pass in that time span, and gave up a QB rating against of 123.2.
Looks like a ST only guy. Seems like a reach for ST only in the 4th.

I like trading out of the 2nd day rather than making a snap pick if the guys they had on their radar got scooped up right before our pick. Now they have an extra half day to really take their time and make the best decisions possible.

Cook terrify's me, he's straight hood and has had a life time of small screw ups and appears to be easily manipulated by scum bags and now he's going to be rich. I love his talent and he's a Viking so I'm hoping it all works out but I wouldn't be shocked if he's the kind of guy who gets suspended a lot. I read his story and yeah it's great to try and blame it on all the bad people around you but if you can't say no to those kinds of people and you hang out with those kinds of people and you're always around trouble, trouble will find you. But let's hope that's not who he really is for our sake.

I do like that his COACHES vouch for his work ethic and character and I really hope we are getting THAT guy but boy am I skeptical.

Honestly I'd be less worried about Mixon getting suspended who made one REALLY big mistake when he was young but before that mistake and after it has been more or less an ideal citizen.

Yeah. We already have Brothers, too. They must see something in him. I'll be curious to see if Kendricks stays at ILB or moves to OLB with Brothers or Gedeon at ILB in base and Kendricks moving to the middle on nickel.

Just when i was going to give RS credit he #### the bed. At best hes or 3rd string MLB. Why draft him here when we need OTs and a tall Wr. The guy from VT would have been my pick. We need someone that can win a jump ball in the redzone. KR doesnt allways get it done

I'd have liked Siragusa. But I don't watch much Big ten ball, so maybe the Michigan kid will be a pleasant surprise.

He ran a 4.75 at the combine and that was considered a good time for him. If hes on the field for anything but ST the opposing OC is going to orgasm.
