Cant throw anything when your line is this trashed. Its a miracle they made 13 points
I don't think that is true. Bradford had time and just consistently threw it short all day. It finally cost him on that int as Slay just sat and never took his eyes off Bradford. If the offense refuses to even try to go deep the defensive backs will eventually start to jump the short routes regardless of whether the defensive line is actually getting pressure.
This loss sits squarely on the numerous sloppy mistakes and lack of aggressiveness offensively IMHO.
Once again our lack luster offense lost us the game. I don't blame Shurmur or Bradford. I still blame the o line. Shurmur understands that we can't protect Bradford and he is stuck with the short passes. Bradford drops back for the deep pass and he is sacked.
Mental mistakes added to the loss today. We deserved to,lose, but it's still on the O line imo.
The only thing that upsets me is the mental mistakes. Those aren't excusable. The offense is just beyond salvage. Let me take away 5 lineman and Dez from Dallas and let's see how amazing they look. You simply cannot plan for this level of attrition. There's not a team in the NFL that could.
Team makes too many mistakes which are brutal when we can barely get yards. That delay of game at the end was terrible, and why the hell did we blow a timeout there before the last drive? I don't know if it's poor coaching or what.

Agreed, and it cannot be fixed in season and it'll be damn difficult to fix in one offseason.

That's true, but even if they hadn't suffered an injury to OL, they would still be terrible, which almost takes planning to put together such a terrible group.

That's BS, with the Vikings D they if the O could score 20 a game and sustain drives they'd have the division virtually locked up already.
Should have ran the ball then hope that Locke booms another and go to OT. Oh well, not all is lost but not sure how much damage we could do in the playoffs without even trying to throw it deep.
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter

Sorry but ill take losing a playoff gane over being a playoffless loser anyday.
yes, well it looks like you are a better team that way, because you know, you made the playoffs. I don't care if they make the playoffs or not. Not even slightly. I care that they become a good team.
