They changed it a few years ago to if the snap is imminent. Idk why.

Easton was in during one of the earlier runs, didn't catch for who. Maybe an extra lineman.

2-3 yrs. They made it an automatic penalty if the offense is lined up.

Has been the last couple years now. Typically when the refs detect it before the ball is snapped. It's like 12 men in the huddle on the offense.
