Sucks. But the season goes on. Manning, ponder, mettenberger, Kaepernick are my choices. In that order.

Yes they do. Teddy might have this year, but no we'll never know. And if his leg is this fragile we may never know. I'm just so very tired of falling short year after year. I'm beginning to feel bad that I introduced my son to this team. Sigh....

Hearing #Vikings QB Taylor Heinicke is two weeks ahead of schedule in recovery from foot injury. Could be back practicing in three weeks.

Mettenberger is good option. McCarron too if we don't have to give up way too much. I'd rather go with an unknown than Ponder. I think if Manning would rather play for Denver than us.

Yes, but that was true before Bridgewater's injury too. They were going to need him to do significantly better than that.

Via Dr. David Chao:
Given @teddyb_h2o non contact, reaction, practice ended, paramedic, MRI, sedation:
Best case is patella dislocation
Worst is dislocated knee

Wow. I'm hoping for the best case scenario because the worst case scenario could be an injury as devastating as the one that ended Daunte Culpepper's Vikings career.

This at least give me a little chuckle.
QB Brad Sorensen has interest in returning to #Vikings if they want him, He already has received some interest for Chargers practice squad.

I would say that would be a no brainier. Chargers ps or Vikings

I was actually feeling pretty optimistic after the San Diego game... looking forward to Teddy hitting all those receivers and tight ends with great passes in the regular season. And then came the gut punch. :wallbang:

This really hurts.

The former orthopedic is suggesting what I was suggesting.

Still, even if it is a dislocated patella as the 'best case,' there will be other structural damage about the knee. That is a potential season-ender.

It is important to note that each individual person is different however. Everyone heals differently and responds to treatment differently. That is why a timetable for injury is never really meant to be definitive.
