The Vikings reached the playoffs last year primarily through a combination of defense and running the football. This injury will likely make improvement in the passing game more difficult but Bridgewater's production hasn't exactly been at the "irreplaceable" level. The question is, can get they get someone to step in and match or exceed it without making too many mistakes? I think it's possible.

If you're referring to the SB, yeah I suppose. But we've been in this situation on offense before with Ponder. And our defense wasnt nearly as good back then as it is now. We're going to have to go back and be one dimensional again. But we have no other choice. Rex Grossman and Trent Dilfer went to Super Bowls riding out a good defense. Mark Sanchez went to 2 straight AFC championships with a good defense. I'm not going to sit here and say the season is over. It definitely decreases our chances. But we just need to play good defense and hand AP the rock

I agree with you Moth. It more just frustrating because it will now before we get to see Teddy play in a NFL game again and see if he has developed.

The SB is all that matters. We'll be lucky to be .500.

I agree. That sucks, especially because he just showed us a few days ago that he might be making genuine progress with his game.

If it is serious, he'll have almost a full year to recover and rehab before next summer's training camp. That's not exactly a silver lining but it's something.

If i were the Vikes, I'd consider getting Arron Murray. He's young, he's been on a team with good QB coaching and he has genuine potential. Pick him up, get him up to speed, keep working with Stave and Hill and carry 3 QBs into the season.

He might be worth it... it would depend on the cost. He is an appealing option.

This is why I've been saying for years that the Vikes need to take a very different approach to this position. The Vikes should have an A.J. McCarron on their roster. Heck, they could have easily had the A.J. McCarron on their roster. They spent their 2014 5th round pick on David Yankey instead.
