MIA gets 86
MIN gets 186, '17 3rd & 4th
Essentially, MIN gets over 200 cents on the dollar, getting 12.6 draft points & giving up 6.2.

They net a 4th and 6th but they have to wait a year to use that 4th. I'm not thrilled. #day2disappointment

And as usual the NFL Channel says nothing about it at all, only rich Eison even knew we were supposed to pick there, not a word from anybody else. If that was the Cowboys they would still be talking about it

Meh. It's great value even if it's not sexy.Mothman wrote:

I like picking up an extra 3rd and 4th next year.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft thread
How good can Miami be next year? A third and a fourth, although a year later, can get you some pretty good players. Or really, will allow Rick a lot of options to move around to get the player he wants in 2017.
That mid-third (assuming) pick from Miami next year would get us up from our slotted draft choice in 2017 - all the way from #32 to #22 according to the draft chart.
