With so much focus being paid to Treadwell and Doctson it seems many all around the internet haven't considered what if both players were to be gone by pick 23. So in that scenario would you try trading down or is there a 3rd option (someone likely to still be available, not a pipe dream) you would be happy with at that draft position?

Perhaps Ragland or I really like Billings. Would it be too early to pick Karl Joseph?

I think we will go with best player available if we don't trade up, I also wonder how the Browns will screw this draft up

I am not sold on Taylor Decker or Jack Conklin.

I will tell you one guy I am very impressed with is Jason Spriggs. Watching him play when we were at Indiana, that guy moves so fluidly for a tackle. Not to mention, that offense was rolling against us (D-line coach even pointed out how well Spriggs was playing).

Spriggs is impressive! I was just talking him up to a friend this morning.

I think he is one of three natural left tackles in this draft. Conklin is a right tackle or a guard. Decker is a right tackle to me.

Agreed. I like Conklin but not as an NFL left tackle. I think Spriggs could probably play at left or right tackle but he'll probably need to keep adding strength at the next level. I love his athleticism.

Was just looking at Spriggs , and you guys are right , he seems to be pretty athletic and tested well at combine . Recovery speed to quick outside pass rushers are a little suspect ,but overall very solid. Would be a great Rd 2 pick

Eh I don't think this would really matter. Probably just a smoke screen green Bay set up because they want him.

Treadwell/Docston with the first pick, Shepard with the second

Instant offense for Teddy. I really like everything Ive seen about Shepard.

Then all Oline and maybe a SS or punter near the end. Still am shocked they gave then knucklehead Sendjo such a big contract.

Sendejo's money and Kalil's bother me.

It's funny how everyone had us taking Docston @ 23 and today most mock drafts have us taking Treadwell.

Myles Jack falling all the way out of the 1st round?? Holy Smokes! DP, what do you know that we missed or haven't heard yet?
I'm interested to see if we draft any Buckeyes.

When Jack all but confirmed himself it may be a degenerative condition that might require microfracture surgery at some point (which can end careers) and teams are asking him to potentially sign an injury waiver. I more expect him to drop out of the top-10 than miss the first round entirely but I think it's possible and I wanted my predictions to be bolder than "Cincinnati takes a WR." We know crazy things happen every year. It's fun trying to figure those things out.

Sounds like people are giving credence to the report that we have Treadwell ahead of Doctson and that others have dropped Treadwell on their board. I'll be stoked if we get to 22 and they're both still available.

This is cool:
Minnesota Vikings@Vikings
Former #Vikings Daunte Culpepper and E.J. Henderson will announce the team's 2nd and 3rd-round picks.
