When Blanton hits a receiver, he does so with one thing in mind– “search and destroy.”
More like search and get destroyed.

He just doesn't have the physical skills to compete in the NFL. He improved over his years. Maybe he'll get to fill in on a terrible team for a year or two and then he'll be out of the league.

Newman and Sherels both resigned, glad to have them back. :smilevike:

This whole trend of picking up guys with 8-9 years under the belt who might have 1-2 more good seasons in them is a bit of a gamble. I hope we dont end up with a slow, injury prone defense. Overall, are the veteran signings they have made on the cheap, average, or high end of the salary scale?

Newman signed a one year 3 million dollar contract which given his age and the likelihood of losing snaps to Wayne is on the average to high end. Sherels signed a 2 year 4 million dollar deal which is basically double what his last contract was, which i think is a good deal however I might be a bit bias cause I really like the kid.
