Multiple league sources indicated #Bengals floated a 2-year deal Nelson’s way early this week - no dice.

Eh. I am not sure how to feel about Alex Boone. He had his moments of dominance, for sure, but, also his moments of struggling (in pass pro). I want to see the contract details.

#Vikings are close to a one-year deal with Mike Harris, per league source. He'll come back to prove himself
Should make PHP happy!

#Fixed: If #Bengals Reggie Nelson makes it to market (and they DON'T want him back now), expect #Vikings and #Buccaneers to come into play.

It'll be more than what will make us feel comfortable. But that's the price for competent free agents.

I want to see what the deals are between Boone and Jeff Allen are. I would much rather have Jeff Allen if he comes cheaper than Boone. But that is just me.

I'm with you.

Vikes just resigned Harris. 1-year around $3 million.

Good. Competition is what we need.

I like Boone's position flexibility. Given our injury history on the line, that's a good thing.

Harris provides some of that position flexibility too. He was certainly a better RT than Clemmings. Boone and Harris at least provide some kind of backup plan at RT and LT.

Via Tom Pelissero...
#Vikings never seriously considered cutting Matt Kalil, whose $11.096M salary is now guaranteed. Believe new OL coach Tony Sparano will help
