1. Fix the offensive line.
2. Draft or sign a big WR who will fight for the ball (someone like Parker who Teddy trusted in college).
3. Don't be so damn predictable.

We can actually do all those things over this offseason so that's cool.

To say replace Teddy might be one of the most far fetched things I've seen on here. I've been on him all year but to just replace him after his second year is just dumb. DUMB

My response is this. Replace him with who? Which QB in the Draft can the Vikings get that can do what people want him to do. It's easy to say "Replace him". Not so easy when you have to come up with the who.

Brees needs to overhaul his entire throwing motion. I wouldn't even consider him. He'll never win another superbowl!

He just throws short underneath passes. His completion percentage downfield is horrible. Over-rated.

To be fair, the first day he fired the OL coach and replaced him with what is generally considered to be a fairly solid upgrade. Lets see how the rest of the offseason shapes up but he couldn't have started in on this list any faster if he had wanted to.

For those of you who want a WR from free agency I'm curious what big WR you guys think we should sign. Remember signing Greg Jennings? Moss 2.0? Greg Camarillo? Bernard Berrian was arguably a decent pick up.

This franchise is cursed with drafting WRs too. Patterson, Harvin, Williamson, Sidney Rice. Moss 1.0 was a good pick, as was Jake Reed.

Agreed, If he doesn't show solid improvement this year, or doesn't have an extremely good reason (entire OL goes down, Peterson goes down, etc) I will happily join the chorus of people who want someone new. I love Teddy and his attitude but he does need to produce more touchdowns.

I also agree. Bridgewater needs to improve but he deserves a third season. Pretty much every young NFL QB should get three years.

I sure would like to see Bridgewater play with a good offensive line in front of him and better offensive coordinating. Hopefully, he'll at least get a better OL. If that doesn't help his game, then the Vikings staff needs to make some decisions.

He needs to help them too by improving his blitz recognition and especially by not holding the ball so long and being more decisive. It's a two way street and there's room for improvement on both sides of that street.

by and large I think the "held the ball too long" idea is another stat driven canard that isn't born out in reality. With the amount of pressure Bridgewater dealt with, its a really a credit to his ability to be evasive and avoid the "big play" for the defense. Those "saves" by Bridgewater take a lot of time, but they amount to big plays that helped the Vikings actually win games, even when they resulted in 0 yards.

The big problem is the pressure itself.

The Vikings have done an impressive job of adhering to the advice of noted football strategist Napoleon Bonaparte, who said, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." Given Bridgewater's part in that operation, in light of the pressure he's faced, the answer to question of whether he needs to throw the ball sooner might be more nuanced than a clock can provide.
