I decided to take another look at the play.

3rd and goal for the Vikes.

Right before the snap, Collinsworth said to keep an eye on McKinnon and referred to him as Bridgewater's "safety blanket". Sure enough, after the snap, Bridgewater looked immediately to McKinnon underneath and quickly threw a pass his way that would fall incomplete.

Take a look at a couple of still shots of the play. Wright is circled in yellow. The ball is circled in orange in the second picture.

Draw your own conclusions.

I know a couple of us mentioned it in the game thread. I thought the ball was going to Rudolph and Mckinnon broke up the pass.

Also the deep pass to Diggs, I thought Diggs left his feet too early. He wasn't able to use his body to shield the defender. We always talk about BW needing to give the receivers a chance to make a play. I think if Diggs played the ball better, he could have made that play.

That was the biggest difference in the game IMO. Seattle made the plays (force fumble, one hand catch, big play on bad snap), the Vikings didn't.

No, I wouldn't because I didn't interpret the play from still shots in the first place. I watched it in real time and then took still shots that were representative of the situation.

I can see why it would look that way. I think he was looking at McKinnon though.

I had the same thought while watching the game.

I agree... or at least they came up one big play short. :(

Would like for Teddy to work on his release this off season. It's way too low which allows passes to be batted away or picked off. I don't expect him to be Aaron Rodgers or Brady but if he can at least throw for 20 TD's , that helps AD. A true #1 receiver would help as well.

Definitely. I still have hope for him, though. Aaron Rodgers had to refine his throwing motion while waiting behind Brett Favre, so it's not like it can't be done. It's frustrating in the meantime, though.
