There are a couple of third downs they would have converted that game if Asiata had been given the carries.

I told my daughter that they should bench AD after the fumble and just play Asiata and McKinnon, got a stupid surprise when AD came out the next series.

I had a bad bad feeling before the kick. I told my wife Walsh has been to,good, today. I then went outside and into the garage until, my wife came out screaming he fucn missed, he fucn missed. I proceeded to kick my dog, beat my wife, break my tv and say bad words for about a half hr.

The Vikes didnt deserve to win. Seattle handed them the game, all day and the Vikes did their best to lose. Teddy cant run a meaningful offense, AP is paid an obscene paycheck yet still handles the ball like a irresponsible rookie, Locke doesnt know how to handle a SNAP (!?!?), the only part of the team that earned its paycheck was the Defense and all their hard work was wasted. 40 yrs of this crap, and they can still make me puke. :puke: :puke:

Not sure I agree with the teddy thing, I think if we ran an offense that didn't look like run run pass he would be better. He was also about the same as Wilson today, Wilson actually looked worse outside a miraculous play.

Not sure how that quote was attributed to me, but I didn't say that.

I needed some time to breathe after the end of the game. I haven't read any posts in here yet, but here are my thoughts:

SKOL Vikings.

That really all I need to say right now. I don't need to explain to any of you how much that game hurt. I don't need to focus on the bad plays or point fingers at certain players (there is one player who I think needs replaced, but I've felt that way all year long. Respecting the "grieving" process, if you will, I'll touch on that further into the offseason).

This team didn't achieve the ultimate goal, but this season was a success. Every team has to start somewhere, and I feel like this is a loss that can be learned from (don't mistake this as a moral victory. It's not. But it is a teaching moment).

I'm so proud of this team, and there's not another team I would rather cheer for in the league.

Thanks for sharing this season with me, guys.

Was it necessary to go back pages and pages to find this one post? If it were my board, you would be banned.

Well said DK! I'm really proud of the 2015 Vikings. Teddy and Zimmer's pressers were very touching. I love this team and I can't wait for next year.

Agreed. I definitely needed the time to cool down but this team has came a long way. Just two years ago, we were a bottom barrel team that had to find a new coach and had one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Spielman has done an EXCELLENT job adding talent to this roster. Zimmer has been an EXCELLENT coach and has quickly turned this team around.

This team has a very very bright future. When was the last time we could ever say that we only have 1 legitimate hole on defense (SS)?? Our offense needs some retooling but Zim is no dummy. I'm sure he realizes that. I couldn't ask for a better coach of this team. He's easily my favorite coach the Vikings have ever had. He reminds me a lot of my father who coached me when I was a kid. One more solid draft by Spielman, and these guys are legitimate contenders IMO. I have FULL confidence in Spielman that he can bring in another good draft class.
The saddest thing in life is wasted talent and the choices you make will shape your life forever.

My 2 cents:
Never been a Locke fan. He rarely pins punts inside the 10. Either into the end zone or short punts it to the 20.
We are way too predictable. Hasn't Norv heard of play action? Any idiot would know we have a better chance play faking to Adrian on first down rather than always running AD and having 2nd and 8 of 9.
Defense played there arses off but on the flukiest play of the game, no one chasing down Russell when ball goes over his head?
McKinnon needs to be in the backfield. A play fake to AD and a flat pass to McKinnon would be tough to stop.
Norv's offense is too much like that previous genius we had (Chilly) run, run, pass short, punt. SICKENING.
Been a fan since 1970. I too am getting numb but this loss HURT.
