I know there is a Zimmer thread somewhere. ESPN's football section has a great article on the Zimmer/Parcells relationship heading into the Giants game. I would love to have some beers on sunday with Bill Parcells.
maybe some can link the article?

@mattvensel The #Vikings worked out wide receivers Eric Rogers and Terrell Sinkfield yesterday, per a league source.

@christomasson Mike Zimmer says Eric Kendricks' problem in pass coverage is he tries to do somebody else's job sometimes. "Much rather have a player be like that than we have to kick him in the rear end.''
@christomasson Mike Zimmer on Pro Bowl: "We probably had some guys deserving.'' Says Vikings have a lot of Pro Bowlers in his eyes.
@christomasson Teddy Bridgewater on Joe Berger: "Joe has done a remarkable job... Joe's been awesome.''
@christomasson Teddy Bridgewater said Pro Bowl snubs will be used for motivation: "I'm pretty sure with the group of guys we have.''
@mattvensel Asked about not making the Pro Bowl, Anthony Barr joked that he can relate to his favorite actor, Leo DiCaprio, who has never won an Oscar.

If it hadn't taken Di Caprio so long to die in 'Titanic' he might have won an Oscar. I think it was a matter of his director not putting him in a position to succeed. It took him like 45min to finally drown. It was great execution but really poor play design...YMMV

I'd like to see the stats on the 45 minutes. Do you have a source for that? It seems like it was 20 minutes at most. Given the cold conditions and having to take the extra time to say final words to Rose it seems like a decent amount of time. It's the director's fault but the writer has to take a little heat too. He put the dialogue together. I think Kate Winslet really hurt him too, she just wouldn't let go.

I heard Di Caprio wanted to check out of drowning in the ocean where so much jibber-jabbering could be done and instead drown sealed off in the hallway with the rest of 3rd class. It would have been much quicker and they could have put the movie to bed a lot sooner too.

Maybe if Rose wasn't such a suitcase hog they both could've survived.

Jack: "Can I get on there with you?"
Rose: "No, Jack, you won't fit."
Jack: "I really think I might."
Rose: "I'll always remember you!"
Jack (dies)
Rose (after dying 50 years later and going to meet Jack on the stairs with everyone): "Jack!"

Doooood!
ok...the 45 min may have just seemed like it cause time is so subjective, like in 'Inception'.
The hallway drowning would have been more like DiCaprio's style and would have been a great audible had he been given the chance to change the play.

I just read a review of 'Revenant' where Leo gets torn up by a bear...I'm actually a little afraid of seeing it based on the description.
I'd be pretty stoked if the Vikes played their roles in Di Caprio fashion.

Suspension upheld:
"New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham's one-game suspension was upheld during Wednesday's appeal hearing in New York, the league announced".
