Would ya want to sign Peyton Manning as a FA next year?
Think about it. With Bridgewater struggling, Just one year under the greatest mind in football history and who knows how much better he could get. And i personally think Peyton just has 1 more year in him anyway, i think he's just having a bad year.

I don't think we need yet another stop gap QB past his prime. We need a long term solution at the position.

Yeah lets put a 40 year old immobile quarterback behind this offensive line.
What could go wrong?

and he's not having a bad year, he's done. He is to old and his arm strength has faded and the cumulative hits that you take over the course of the season are to much for him. He plays behind a good line right now and the bang up is effecting him. Do you watch the Vikings? What makes you think he would survive a game?

Peyton should just retire honestly he is past his prime and I dont see him being better than any other starting qb in the league.

Stupid, stupid question.

It's curious you would say that Bridgewater is struggling, and then want manning to replace him. According to this link Bridgewater is listed at #19 (of 32) QBs. Manning? He's right below Teddy at #20. The point isn't how terribly accurate (or inaccurate) this assessment is. The point is that they are playing approximately the same level right now. At least with Bridgewater I can hope this is a "sophomore slump" and that he improves next year. I just don't see that with Peyton. He was great once, but he needs to retire.

osweiler is a free agent. i'd rather go after him

I've heard and read some really bad things about Peyton Manning and the permanent damage he's taken over the years. How it takes the trainer like two hours to take all of his gear off and unwrap everything because he can't do any of it himself and how he's in massive pain once all the pain killers wear off for pretty much the whole week before he get's pumped full of them again and goes out there.
It wouldn't shock me if Peyton plays again but I honestly think he's done, I don't think Denver will even want him back and I don't know who would take him but maybe someone would be desperate enough to do so.

I want someone with an anti-pu$$y arm and mobile. Hmmm. Kaepernick comes to mind.

i'd sign him in an instant and pay him 20 million. we have wasted peterson's prime years he deserves one last shot to play with a real quarterback. kaepernick is no better purple haze, bad mechanics and poor downfield vision. the only difference is he is built more stout, but as a passer he sucks just as much.

No.
And no to Kap. Someone else mentioned him. Id only take him if he was the same prices as Hill. The real question is should we replace Heinekie with Ryan Mallet or not. Have Zimmer tame Mallet, and tell him to grow the ef up.

The fact there are people in here pro singing an over the hill manning means people truly don't understand how bad our line is. He would get #### merc'd.

Just today, after Teddy's best game as a pro, I've seen posts advocating for Manning, Kaepernick, and Ryan.
