Nice Cover up calls Refs, how come penalties in favor of the Vikes never effect the outcome of the game like the penalties you call against us do?
Re: Seahawks @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 13
Well they just switched over to the Bears game....

The network just dropped the game here to go to SF vs. Chi!

Yes, there were some bad penalties called against us, but you really think that they affected the outcome of this game? Not hardly.Laserman wrote:Nice Cover up calls Refs, how come penalties in favor of the Vikes never effect the outcome of the game like the penalties you call against us do?

I didn't see the second pass offensive pass interference call but I'm guessing this part of the rule explains why Wright was called for the first one:
http://static.nfl.com/static/content/pu ... Fumble.pdfOther Prohibited Acts By the Offense.
Blocking downfield by an offensive player prior to a pass being thrown is offensive pass interference.
Note: It is also pass interference by the offense to block a defender beyond the line while the pass is in the air,
if the block occurs in the vicinity of the player to whom the pass is thrown.

Ref sounded disappointed to call a penalty.

You know how people try to get you to stop using tobacco by quantifying how much time it takes off your life?
"Man, every dip of tobacco is 5 minutes off your life, Hunter. I am happy you are quitting."
This game is like, 3 weeks. I will die almost a month prematurely from this.
Games like this are why I am not making it to 80.

He didn't block, Jim. If anything, the defender held him from making his break.Mothman wrote:I didn't see the second pass offensive pass interference call but I'm guessing this part of the rule explains why Wright was called for the first one:

Exum is horrible. Just horrible. In coverage or in tackling. Thanks Rick for this stout depth you have laid out for us.

It's a sad day, when we're so f'n terrible that the Network switches to Chicago vs San Francisco.
I get it. 3 of our key players are out on Defense and our Offensive Line sucks donkey balls, but come on! Where is the heart in this team? This was a pathetic showing.

If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?
