I just don't see any unique play design to get this passing game into a rhythm. It just snowballs in it's ineptitude.
The run to set up the pass doesn't work against teams who stop the run.

That first TD drive by Seattle had Multiple WR pick plays, an end around and a TE screen....and the first two plays were play action roll outs on which the vikes D bit hard. On one drive Seattle ran a greater diversity of plays than the Vikes have the entire half.
This offense is not designed to fool anyone...it relies on out executing you with better athletes. We don't have them.
It's an exercise in belligerence.

Imagine CP84 in Bevell's scheme....

Hey, we'll see! I'm guessing we will get some points but our D will let Seattle score too. Would that count?

As the game was blacked out for UK Gamepass viewers (again) I had to buy the game today. I will not be watching the second half.
Thank you very much Vikings, I hope you refund me after this disgraceful performance.

Has Zimmer's friendship with Norv clouded his "eyesight?"

Norv T has been living off one good time in his career, back when the Cowboys were dominant, and his O Line back then was truly premiere. Since then, he's Norv. Why is he still get OC or head coaching jobs? I know, those who hire respect veterans and experience, no matter what the experience shows. It's so frustrating to watch..."Coach Z., you watch too!"

...wisdom

If I could put it in a sentence I would say, "Vikings fans don't deserve a Super Bowl".
"You like that!"

Doesn't matter how they score, they're going to need to score on this first possession. I expect they're going to try and get Peterson going .

Texas Vike wrote:Having rarely seen games this year, I have stayed out of the animated debates about our Offensive (lack of) production this season. Now that I've seen a bit more... I think it's time to draft another QB. He's had very little time to get set and scan the field, it's true, but when he does have time he's failing miserably. That INT was a horrible throw.

EVERY game I've gotten to see this year (SF, GB and this atrocity) has been BRUTAL. Just once, I'd love to see them play well. I can't believe this team has won 8 times this year. Is that true?
I'd find it hard to believe if the only games I'd seen were those you've seen. There have been better days for the Vikes this year. I wish you;d seen some of them. Maybe you still will...

I agree that they need to draft another QB. Bridgewater hasn't been the upgrade they expected and they can't keep all their eggs in that basket after this season. He just hasn't played well enough to count on him going forward.

The D is a sieve. NO where near a top 5 D, let alone a #1 D like some mentioned. Stupid penalties.
Lets put all the blame on Teddy though. Its so much easier to think the problem is just him.

We're missing our 3 best defenses players, can't use this game as a measuring stick for how good our d is. We ran into a hot offense at the absolute worst time

I blame this one on Norv, period. Can't abandon the run after one drive with Peterson. We've played right into the Seahawks hands, allowing them pin back their ears and rush Teddy, forcing us to throw down field. Our teams not built that way, teddy's struggling passing deep, our WRs aren't that great, our olive can't pass block and seattles got a pretty damn good secondary and pass rush. Norv has gameplanned us out of this game

The way I see it, we are just a 500. Ball Club that barely beat some bad teams and Lost every game we played to good teams. I didn't expect to win this game especially after the Job the NLF/ Refs did with Mr Discount Doublecheck Thursday night . Reality is reality, Bridgewater is a Sub Average NFL QB. Nice experiment but we better start looking elsewhere

Right now I would be happy to see Taylor Heinicke come in. He would have to be an upgrade.
12 yards rushing in the first half.
