The Bears haven't beaten anybody to suggest they shoukd be favored over the Vikings, in fact, they have less wins.

Please tell me you didnt mean the thing about vegas odds being more indicative then on field success, please.

I agree. Just wanted to point out the correction. I'm not sold on how good (or bad?) this Vikings team is. I believe that they will play a lot of close games this year. The defense is above average. But the offense is just terrible.

There is no absolute barometer for how a game will play out. Even so, I'll take the perspective of a Vegas pro who's looking deeper than simple wins and losses over a quick look at the standings.

Aside from the fact that that is utterly asinine and foolish, I think you may want to rethink how much football knowledge most of the people placing those bets have.
