No, I think this was a big game for the Vikings. There was some forging that went on today, especially with Teddy. He needed to break out of that tight, overly cautious slump he'd been in all season, and I think this game did that for him. We are going to come back strong after the bye week, I believe.

Great fight, but we have a ways to go to be in the NFL elite. Zimmer is on the right path though, we got smacked in the mouth , but we also smacked them back, two years back we would have got run out of the stadium

I understand the sentiment but I'm not feeling satisfied at all. I liked their effort and I'm glad they were competitive but we've been watching the Vikes compete and lose close games for years. They need to get over that hump.

Gutpunch of a loss there but would you rather see that or San Fran? One to build on.

At least the next game is a noon home game against Denver But Worse In Every Way, the Chiefs, followed with two divisional games, Lions and Bears on the road. I don't see why the team couldn't go 2-1 or 3-0 against that.

Teddy is definitely a franchise QB though. Couldn't be more impressed with how he played against that pass rush with an offensive line that resembles a struggling D3 college program's offensive line.
They have to call at least 2 PI's or a hold and PI on Rhodes, or they aernt doing their job.

I do feel that way. We should have won this game and it is that simple.

I know most won't agree, but that was a good game by the Vikes. Playing a very tough defense on the road at altitude and losing by a field goal is nothing to sneeze at. Bridgewater mostly looked good, my criticism of him is that he needs to have that clock in his head that says if he hasn't found someone open after a few seconds he needs to dump the ball. He hung in there a little too long on several plays on that last series.

Whoever said Clemmings was better than Loadholt, you seriously need to re-evaluate. He looked awful. Any rookie vs Von Miller is going to struggle but he was just awful.

I still don't get the o-line has been bad for decades. That's just simply not true and like I already said once already, we would have a pretty solid offensive line if we were healthy. You really can't blame anyone. It's just bad luck losing your two best lineman before the season even starts

I doubt it. The Broncos have just as weak and one-dimensional an offense as the Vikings. They are far from what I would consider an elite team.

? No idea what you mean. You are excited by loses? Really? Or you liked some of the plays, like the AD run?

I appreciate your perspective. We took the #1 D in the league down to the wire, heck of a character builder. Hopefully the garbage o-line will especially take it to heart.

so we can't be a great team just because we have a bad kicker?
