Re: Lions @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2
Stupid play call, almost Viking like.
FWIW, I liked the penalty on Barr. Would have been smarter on his own sideline, but still, I like seeing Stafford get his #### kicked. And Stafford shoudl have been flagged too.

For Jim:
The Lions have a combined rushing total of: 38 yards.

I don't think it was a penalty... a runner is running out of bounds and gets a little help from behind... happens all the time. Not a penalty.PurpleMustReign wrote:Stupid play call, almost Viking like.

Bridgewater got tackled 3 yards out of bounds, no flag.

Agreed. If rather take a chance at a penalty and make Stafford pay than play soft.PurpleMustReign wrote:Stupid play call, almost Viking like.

AD stays in bounds, stiff arms ... holds onto the ball.

Re: Lions @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2
That series was so wierd.
The refs reset the ball with no measurement, when it looked like he wasn't even close to the 1st down.
I could see a auto first down set if it was 3rd down, but not 4th.
Then they snapped the ball for the next play with the clock stopped at 2 mins. It was stopped for like 3 seconds.
I will be very surprised if this isn't talked about, completely fishy by the refs.
Anyway good game! We Are 1-1 BABY!

500? 335 I believe. I'm sure PIttsburgh pulled some players and has been sitting in dime for the last quarter.PurpleMustReign wrote:Kapernick (sp) has almost 500 yards passing, and they are tgetting killed.
