Alan Page: MNF in San Francisco, Tuesday law class at the U of M
As luck would have it, David Huey — brother of the Star Tribune’s Pam Huey — was a law school classmate of Page’s. With Pam’s urging, David Huey wrote a first person account of one of his fondest memories of that time: when [Allen] Page played a Monday Night game in San Francisco in 1976 — a nice bit of symmetry there with the Vikings set to play their opener this Monday night on the road against the 49ers as well — and still went to a 9 a.m. Tuesday law class back at the U of M.
Same boat as everyone else, have to wake for work @ 5:30... just going to have to power through tomorrow. Hope for a great game to start the season. Help alleviate the concerns from seeing the improvement in some of the teams on our schedule. Go Vikes!
As weird as it is to say this I am kinda hoping that the game is a no doubter by the third. Preferably with Vikings stomping so I can head to bed early and watch the last quarter highlights tomorrow.
Well, I am pretty conflicted on what to do. This is probably the only game I will be able to watch in its entirety all year. Conversely, I have to be up by 5:00am tomorrow... Part of me wants to watch it, but part of me wants sleep.
I will be pissed if Minnesota plays like crap and loses tonight.
A Randy Moss fan for life. A Kevin Williams fan for life.
Its a 4:20 kickoff here in Hawaii. Going to be working tonight so I'm probably just going to watch it on the dvr when i get home tonight. Hate to have to watch it on my phone but i may not be able to help myself.
If we lose, i just hope we don't lose like how the Giants did yesterday. So heartbreaking to lose like that.

You will be tired, but you will live. It's only for one night. Go for it!
