Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

@Andrew_Krammer Norv on Matt Kalil's preseason: "Very few plays where his guy had a negative effect. I think he’s preparing himself to have a strong year."

The potential winner of the MLB competition is...

Hodges?
@MasterStrib Zimmer said Gerald Hodges will start at MLB in the base and Eric Kendricks in the nickel #Vikings
Huh.

Awesome. Despite very little fanfare, he was very solid last year and looks even better so far this year. It's a testament to his mental acuity that he's been able to transition to MLB. Versatility is a valuable trait.

So maybe we should start talking about how well the LB coach is doing...

Sam Monson @PFF_Sam

Don't look now, but Matt Kalil has a positive grade this preseason. Has been perfect in pass pro. 0 pressures.

I refuse to acknowledge these tweets on Kalil in the same way that I refuse to acknowledge that my baby is sleeping. If I make too big of a deal about it, it's very likely to change and ruin my night.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Hodges held down the MLB spot and Kendricks took over for Greenway next year? What a twist on expectations.

@eric_j_thompson Looks like it could be Barr/Hodges/Greenway as starting LBs for the #Vikings and Barr/Kendricks as Nickel LBs to start season. Good combos.

@EDOslund Trae Waynes was getting work in with the first team defense as the left cornerback, opposite Xavier Rhodes, in the base defense #Vikings
@EDOslund Patterson lined up in the backfield during a red zone drill, received a handoff but fumbled the exchange, didn't see the play again #Vikings

Randy Moss was in a local TV ad for Direct TV. Thats has to one of the few times a MN Viking was in a TV ad I can remember. We always get stuck with the Rogers, GB, or ChiTown crap. And it was pretty funny. Nice job Randy. I though this was a good place for this as it pertains to the Vikings. Feel free to move it.
